It’s a new year, and I think a lot of people are feeling like this one is going to be a different kind of year. Different, meaning better than the last 2 years we’ve all had since the Covid pandemic rocked the world.
Since 2020 there has been a renewed interest in the home and what it means to us as its become not only our sanctuary but also our work place.
Interiors during the last 2 years have leant towards the minimal with muted colour palettes, greys and minimalism being all the rage, this trend driven by the need for calm as the outside world was so hectic.
But in 2023, we’re going to be seeing a whole lot of different. I’m calling this year 2020’s colourful cousin. If it were a person, it would be Interior Designer and Stylist, Iris Apfel!
This year is all about stepping away from the cookie cutter look of display homes and creating spaces that are personality driven, fun, nostalgic and unique.
