Ain’t this the truth! 🙌

How often have you convinced yourself that you can’t do something or that your worst fear has come true, only to realise you found the strength to get through it. 💪

Child birth comes to mind for me, there were many times that I feared I couldn’t do it, only to find my inner strength and push on through (literally 😂)

The inner voice in our heads will convince us of many things that it fears but to diffuse it, we can ask ourselves this simple question - is this true?

It helps to remind ourselves that no matter what we’re stronger than our fears. ❤️

More often than not it’s not truth,

Yes siree, this is 💯true!

It’s the old saying, if you do as you’ve always done, you’ll get the result you’ve always got.

True growth is when we feel uncomfortable and awkward but we’re willing to go through these feelings to trying something new.

I know it can be scary trying things we’ve never done before, having to deal with the fear that comes up….

But in the end we only regret the chances we didn’t take, so why not push yourself out of your comfort zone and do something that challenges you, it will completely open up new doors for you. ✨

It’s a great feeling when you’re able to do something you’re passionate about, but it’s even better when you can share this with others ☺️

This is why I’m super excited to be teaming up with @spiritedplaycafe to host the Interior Decorating for Beginners workshop on Sat 4th June.

Not only will you get to learn about your personal interior style, you will get to create your own styled spaces using beautiful homewares, furniture, decor and of course plants 🌿🌵from local stores @burbridgeandburke @baylivingandgarden

There will be champagne, nibbles, a goodie bag to take away and plenty of laughs so why not make a night of it!

Who thinks styling is just fluffing cushions?? 🤔

This is a phrase that gets thrown about when asked what interior decorators & stylist do….but it’s A LOT more than that!

Our job is to help you understand your style and to inject this personality into your home.

It’s the magic that brings a look together and creates an atmosphere, with out it, a house is just a structure with no life to it.

I would love to say that this has been a relaxing

I would love to say that this has been a relaxing day, full of well behaved kids, no tantrums and happy smiles all around but that would be a lie! 😉☺️

Wishing all the mothers out there a happy Mother’s Day. You’ll never have a harder yet more for fulfilling job.

I wish I had of said this to my younger self!!

This has definitely been a pattern for me, whilst I’m ok with change, I’ve always had a tendency to have things figured out.

Where will I be living, what will I be doing, how will I get there…these are all questions I used to obsess over #canyourelate 🙋‍♀️

Whilst I like stability, as I’ve become older and more in line with who I am I’ve found I think less about the how and more about the why.

I figure, if I know my why, the how will come and who knows what other surprises along the way 💫✨

It’s just my luck that hubby has caught covid 😞 and I’ve taken on the roll of 2 parents plus bread winner. The word exhausted comes to mind 🤦‍♀️

So if I’m quiet over the coming days forgive me, I’ll be back once I’ve caught my breath with some exciting news to share with you!!
