The outcome
The client’s vision was to create a relaxing, modern coastal home that they could enjoy after previously renting the home out.
As the client had moved from interstate with no previous furniture, it was a blank canvas. They needed all new furniture and decor for their 3 bedroom, 2 living area home and to transform the outdoor areas into functional spaces they could enjoy all year around.
To create a modern and relaxed feel a cool colour palette was introduced, with blues, greens, whites and warm timber tones becoming the main focus.
All new furniture, outdoor furniture, decor and plants were purchased and styled for the home, to create a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The end result is an inviting space that reflects their interior style and the water front location of the home.
This was our first time working with an interior designer and Michelle took the time at the beginning to explain the process.
Initially it took some work to settle on what we wanted but Michelle’s great suggestions for retailers who had items in the style we were looking for was a great help and she worked with our selection as well as a few of her own.
When things didn’t quite go to plan, there was no issue for her follow up and get things changed of fixed. Michelle was was not at all pushy and easy to work with. We are very happy with the final result.
