The outcome
The client’s vision was to modernise their holiday home and create a coastal retreat that could be enjoyed by family and guests.
The existing apartment was in need of an update as the furniture decor and lighting were all dated and the wrong proportions for the space.
To create a modern and relaxed feel a cool colour palette was introduced.
All new furniture, decor. lighting and window furnishings were purchased for the home, using materials and colours that tied in with the coastal style such as timber, rattan, jute and linen to create a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The end result is a relaxing and modern coastal retreat that reflects their interior style and the beach side location of the home.

After an initial consultation she had a thorough understanding of the look and feel we were after and promptly provided us with a serious of mood boards which were spot on. Based in Sydney it made it tricky for us to come up at the drop of a hat to help with the project. Michelle single handedly managed the whole process from clearing the old furniture from the unit, accepting all the deliveries of new furniture and then assembling and styling the space with new furniture and styling items. Michelle stuck to our budget and kept us well informed througout the project. We went up for the weekend once everything was finished and walked into a completely brand new and set up unit. It was perfect. She exceeded our expectations in every way and created a home away from home for us to enjoy.”
